Q:Length, Delivery and Surface Treatment of CR100 Rail (Common Options)?

A: Common full-length segments: 12 meters (or 8–25 meters as required). Delivery options include: bare rail, oil-coated (for rust prevention), or surface-polished/painted. The rail can be factory-treated with heat (head hardening) or full-rail hardening, with specific details subject to the purchase contract.

A: For crane rails, butt welding (e.g., flash butt welding/electroslag welding) or fishplate connection is commonly used. It is crucial to control the metallographic structure of the weld seam and residual stress;
 
High-manganese steel materials such as U71Mn have specific requirements for welding (preheating/post-heating/selection of welding consumables must comply with specifications);
 
During construction, the rail bed and backing plate should be strictly controlled to avoid local stress concentration. (For specific welding processes, please refer to the recommendations of the construction engineer.)
