Materials, Heat Treatment & Quality Control
Grades & Treatments: Standard supply commonly uses 900A carbon-manganese rail steel. Head-hardened (HH) and higher strength grades (e.g., 1100 series) are available for high-abrasion or heavy-haul applications.
MTC & Testing: Every lot is supplied with Mill Test Certificates covering chemical composition, tensile and yield properties, head hardness and Charpy impact results upon request. Third-party inspection and testing (SGS, etc.) can be arranged.
Welding & Fitting Guidance: We provide recommended welding procedures (aluminothermic/thermit and flash-butt) and installation notes for CWR, expansion joints and turnout interfaces.
