Welded Rail Clips
Overview
GloryRail’s welded rail clips are designed to deliver unmatched stability and longevity in the most arduous industrial applications. Ideal for heavy rails in ports, shipyards, mining, and heavy machinery systems, our clips offer permanent fixation through welding, eliminating the need for under-access and ensuring reliable performance under extreme loads. With models ranging from 55kN to 390kN horizontal force capacity, we provide tailored solutions for light to ultra-heavy rail systems.

Key Features & Benefits
Permanent Welded Fixation
Full penetration welding ensures a rigid, vibration-resistant connection between the clip and rail support.
Eliminates bolt loosening risks, making them suitable for high-frequency or heavy-impact environments.
High Load-Bearing Capacity
Constructed from weldable grade steel with Grade 8.8/10.9 bolts, capable of withstanding 55kN to 390kN horizontal forces.
Vulcanized rubber blocks provide controlled clamping force, reducing wear and noise while enhancing rail alignment.
Adjustable Design for Precision
Horizontal adjustment ranges from 8mm to 21mm, accommodating rail misalignments during installation or thermal expansion.
Low-profile design fits cranes with guide rollers, ensuring compatibility in space-constrained settings.
Global Compatibility
Works with major rail standards: Chinese (QU70–QU120), Japanese (JIS50N–JIS60), European (UIC 54–UIC 60), and heavy-duty industrial rails (e.g., GCR183, MRS125).
Suitable for rails weighing 30kg/m to 221kg/m, including specialized profiles for mining and port machinery.
Corrosion & Vibration Resistance
Welded bases and galvanized components resist corrosion in coastal, high-moisture, or chemically aggressive environments.
Rubber blocks dampen vibrations, extending rail and clip lifespan in high-traffic applications.

Installation & Maintenance
Welding Specifications
Weld Type: Fillet weld with 4–5mm throat thickness using low-hydrogen electrodes (e.g., AWS E7018/E7028).
Weld Area: Full perimeter welding except the side parallel to the rail (for non-padded rails).
Certification: Welding performed by certified technicians to ensure structural integrity.
Torque & Adjustment
Grade 8.8 bolts: 125–350Nm (model-dependent).
Post-weld adjustment: Use the self-tightening mechanism to fine-tune rail position within the horizontal adjustment range.
Maintenance Tips
Inspect welds annually for cracks or corrosion.
Replace rubber blocks every 5–7 years or as needed to maintain clamping force.
Lubricate bolt threads to prevent seizing in high-corrosion environments.
