Installation Guidelines

  1. Welding Preparation: Use weldable-grade steel for the rail support. Ensure the base is clean and free of debris.
  2. Welding Process:
    • Weld the clip base to the support with a 4mm throat thickness fillet weld, full perimeter except for the bolt opening.
    • Use low-hydrogen electrodes (AWS E7018 or E7028) to prevent weld cracking under load.
    • Note for rails without pads: Omit the weld section closest to and parallel with the rail.
  3. Tightening: Secure the assembly with the M16 captive bolt, applying a tightening torque of 200Nm to ensure proper locking.
