7216 Welded Rail Clip
Product Overview
7216 Welded Rail Clip is a robust solution designed to secure heavy to ultra-heavy rails in demanding industrial environments. With a 235kN (24 tonnes) horizontal force capacity, this clip is ideal for cranes, port machinery, and mining systems requiring permanent welded fixation. Its 20mm horizontal adjustment range and self-tightening mechanism ensure precise alignment and vibration-resistant performance in high-load applications.

Key Features
Full-perimeter welding (except bolt area) to rail supports, ensuring vibration-resistant and maintenance-free performance.
Weldable base constructed from high-strength steel for structural integrity.
Two-piece design locks securely when the Grade 8.8 bolt is tightened, maintaining consistent clamping force over time.
Integral vulcanized rubber block provides controlled force to the rail, reducing wear and noise:
14mm thickness for rails with pads (S model).
21mm thickness for rails without pads (H model).
Suitable for 52.8–183.06 kg/m rails across global standards:
Chinese: QU70, QU80, QU100, QU120
European: A75, A100, A120
Industrial: ISCR80–ISCR120, GCR183, CR73–CR100
Japanese: JIS50N, JIS60
Galvanized finish and weldable steel components ensure durability in coastal, humid, or abrasive environments.

Installation Instructions
Weld the clip base to the support structure using a 4mm throat thickness fillet weld.
Use low-hydrogen electrodes (AWS E7018/E7028) for optimal weld quality.
Note: Omit welding on the side parallel to the rail when using the (H) without pad configuration.
Insert the M16 captive bolt and tighten to 200 Nm torque to activate the self-locking mechanism.
Adjust rail position within the 20mm horizontal range before finalizing the welds.
Verify weld integrity for full penetration and no cracks.
Ensure rubber blocks are properly seated and free of damage.
Maintenance Guidelines
Annual Inspection: Check bolt tightness, rubber pad wear, and weld corrosion.
Rubber Pad Replacement: Replace every 5–7 years or when signs of degradation (e.g., cracking, compression set) are observed.
Corrosion Protection: Apply anti-corrosion coating to welds and bolt threads in high-humidity or saltwater environments.
Applications
Ports & Terminals: Securing heavy gantry crane rails (e.g., QU100/QU120) in container handling systems.
Mining & Quarries: High-load haul rails in underground mines (e.g., ISCR120, GCR183).
Steel Mills & Heavy Industry: Fixation for rail-mounted heavy machinery (e.g., A120 rails).
Shipyards: Marine cranes and rail systems requiring permanent, vibration-resistant installation.
