The Application: Crane Rails for Waste Handling
The customer required steel rails for a crane system used in a waste handling facility in Taiwan.
In facilities such as waste treatment plants and waste-to-energy plants, grab bucket cranes are commonly used to lift, transfer, and feed waste during the treatment process. The crane operates repeatedly in a demanding industrial environment, so the rail system must be properly matched to the crane design and operating requirements.
For this project, the customer required multiple rail profiles rather than a single standard.
The required products were:
- A65 crane rail: 6 pieces × 12 m
- GB30KG rail: 7 pieces × 10 m
- GB22KG rail: 3 pieces × 10 m
The GB30KG and GB22KG rails were specified in 55Q steel grade.
One Supplier for Multiple Rail Requirements
The project involved different rail profiles, lengths, and material specifications within one order.

Packaging for Export Shipment
After production, the rails were prepared for export shipment to Taiwan.
The rails were securely arranged and strapped for transportation to help maintain the stability of the cargo during handling and ocean shipment.
The final shipment included:
6 × 12 m A65 rails + 7 × 10 m GB30KG rails + 3 × 10 m GB22KG rails
The different rail profiles and lengths were prepared according to the customer’s order requirements for the waste handling crane project.
Project Result
Glory Rail completed the supply of the required rail profiles for the customer’s waste handling facility in Taiwan.
The order covered 16 rail pieces in three different profiles, including A65 crane rail, GB30KG rail, and GB22KG rail. The GB30KG and GB22KG rails were supplied in 55Q steel as specified by the customer.
