Product Overview
Manufactured from high-quality gray cast iron (HT15–33) or ductile iron (QT-10), our cast iron sheaves are precision-cast and finished with quench-and-temper treatment, shot peening and optional corrosion protection.
They deliver natural damping, excellent wear resistance and strong load-bearing performance—ideal for bridge/gantry cranes, hoists, port gantry machines, mine winches, stacker/RGV rail systems and other light-to-medium duty lifting and fixed-rail applications.
Custom drawings accepted. Standard MOQ ≥100 pcs. 1-year warranty. Material certificates and static load test reports available.

High Load Capacity & Stability: Premium cast iron materials plus heat treatment deliver reliable load capacity. Recommended static safety factor ≥ 3 (subject to application condition).
Long Wear Life: Graphite in the cast iron provides natural lubrication, combined with quench-and-temper and shot peening to reduce friction and surface wear.
Cost-Effective Manufacturing: Casting enables integrated, complex geometries and low unit cost in mass production.

Manufacturing & Quality Control
Melting: Electric arc furnace melting with real-time chemical composition and temperature control (C, Si, Mn, etc.).
Casting: Gravity or metal mold casting to ensure complete mold filling and casting density.
Stress Relief: Controlled cooling or normalizing to reduce residual stress and prevent cracks.
Precision Machining: CNC turning for OD, bore and rope groove to meet assembly tolerances.
Surface Hardening & Finish: Quench-and-temper, shot peening, and optional corrosion protection (IPK coating, galvanizing or specified paint).
Inspection: Material certificate, dimensional inspection, hardness/metallography, and static load test with factory inspection report.

Customization, MOQ & Lead Time
Custom Fabrication: Diameter, bore, width, groove geometry and surface treatments can be customized. 2D/3D (DWG/STEP) drawings are supported for confirmation.
MOQ & Lead Time: Typical MOQ ≥ 100 pieces for standard sizes. Typical lead time about 30 days for standard orders (subject to order quantity and process complexity). Smaller sample orders are negotiable but may increase unit cost and lead time.
Warranty & Inspection: 1-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects (excluding misuse). Third-party factory inspections are supported.
Selection & Technical Notes
Confirm Bore & Shaft Fit: The table lists the bore size. Supply the shaft diameter or bearing model to define fit tolerance (e.g., H7).
Rope Groove & Rope Diameter: Provide wire rope diameter and rope type so groove radius and side clearance can be matched.
Operating Environment: For humid or corrosive environments, request galvanizing or specialized coatings. For high-temperature operation, confirm material high-temperature performance.
Lubrication & Maintenance: Define lubrication intervals and bearing inspection schedule. Critical components should be inspected annually or per operating hours.
Safety Factor: We recommend a static safety factor ≥ 3. For continuous high-frequency duty, consider welded or cast-steel sheaves.
